Web Browsers, is one really better than the other?

Hey everyone. I hope all of you are doing well and are in a good state of health. I recently saw a video on YouTube about Google doing these crazy experiments to compare the time it takes a page to load on Googles web browser – Google Chrome. I must admit that the video was neat but totally unnecessary. It just showed me that Google has way too much time and money on their hands to do really useless experiments. But anyways what is not why I am writing this post. I am writing this post because the video got me thinking about web browser. Does it really matter which browser I use? Be Internet Explorer, FireFox, Safari, Opera, Chrome or any other. Don’t they all just do the same thing? Is one really better than the other? Surprisingly, after a little research and hands on experience I came to the conclusion that yes, one web browser is better than the other….at least in some areas.

There are many ways to assess a web browser. You can compare speeds, security, plug-ins support and several other categories when deciding which browser is better than another. So I am thinking about doing a professional video about web browsers and which browser I personally like. I think it will be fun and great way to make it simpler for those people who don’t have the time or interest to do the research. I will feature it in my Raied Reviews Channel so make sure to check that out. Instead of doing every single browser out there I am thinking of examining only Internet Explorer, FireFox and Chrome. Maybe Opera. If you guys have any suggestions as to what you want me to explain in the video, please drop me a comment. All input is welcome.

I hope to get the video recorded, edited and uploaded hopefully within 1-2 weeks.

That’s it for now. Take care.

How to combat laziness. A disease we all suffer from.

Hey guys. I hope all of you are doing well. I wanted to write a long detailed post about laziness and how to combat it for a while now, but I am thinking that instead of writing one long post I will write a series of posts. This way you will be able to consume and implement all that reading!

Let me just quickly tell you why I have come up with this topic. I being in University get 4 months off for the summer. Four months is a VERY long time and it is vital to spend these 120 days wisely. I am taking summer courses but even with courses there is a lot of free time. So what to do with all this free time? I could loaft around the house playing games, watching movies and wasting time on the computer. Even though it sounds fun and tempting, this summer is going to be different. Purposely this summer i decided NOT to get a job or take a full course load. I wanted free time so i could invest time in things I like. Things I didn’t get to do in the hectic school year.  There is huge problem though…and I mean HUGE.

The biggest problem that I have faced and still face is laziness. At times we don’t realize it but laziness is a disease that is really hard to diagnose and when diagnosed it is very hard to cure. Though it is not lethal, it can become so if you dont take action. Laziness will make you waste your life away. Laziness will make you feel things can be done at a “later time”, time that eventually never comes. Laziness will make you feel lethargic and it will slowly deteriorate your health. But you already know that…your parents tell you this all the time. The million dollar question is…”how do I combat laziness?” Let me attempt to give you tips and tricks that you can implement into your own life.

Before I go on though please do keep in mind that I too am infected by this disease. And these series of tips and tricks are more aimed towards me than any of you. But I also know that I am not alone when it comes to combating laziness. So why don’t you come along on the ride with me? I will need some motivation along the way.

Tip #1: Excercise

In my honest opinion and through the research that I have done, the main cause for laziness is simply that fact that our bodies are extremely unhealthy. Not necessaraily unhealthy because of the food we eat but because of the fact that our bodies receive no excercise. Think about it, we spend more than 3/4 of our day either sitting on an office chair or sitting on a couch or sleeping. We travel to work by car or bus. We take the elevator to move from floor to floor and our favourite pass time is “let’s go out and eat!”(Especially in countries with harsh winters). It is a bitter reality that the amount of excercise we do on a daily basis is either very little or nothing at all. For me it is “nothing at all”.

So what is the solution to this catastrophe.I think that if I just tell you this tip alone it will be enough to get rid of your laziness. EXCERCISE. Excercise not only makes you healthier but it also provides you with more energy. Laziness doesn’t allow your mind to function properly and this causes you to feel physical and mental fatigue. You might feel tired at the moment you are doing the excercise but that energy comes with double the force. Be it jogging everyday, going to the gym or working out at home. The hardest part is just getting started. When you start you will feel better through every second you the workout. For me, I dont like the gym. I think it is way too much of a hassle travelling to a workout facility, changing, working out, changing back and travelling back home. A one hour workout turns to almost 2 or more hours. So I found another solution. P90x. P90x is an extremely intense 90 day work out that is “guaranteed” to get you in the best shape of your life. When I say intense I really do mean intense.  What I love about the program is that it is only 1 hour a day. But that hour will make you sweat like you’ve worked out for 4! Another great thing about the program is you don’t need any fancy machines. All you need are some weights and that is about it. Just get a DVD player, slide the dvd in , turn on your TV and you are ready to workout right in your living room. It is very simple, quick and effective. I know tons of people who have used this program and have gotten results. But you have to be committed. Things will get tough but you have to keep at it. You need patience. You will see results. I promise.

So my personal goal to combat laziness in the next 4 months is to follow Tip #1. I will start following the P90x workout program for the next 90 days. I will keep you posted through either vlogs or twitter posts. Now there is also a Diet Program that comes with P90x, but I don’t think I am ready to follow that just yet. Though for those of you out there who are mentally ready to change your life and get fit I do recommend following the diet program because it will give you the best reults.

What are you going to do? Don’t be lazy and do nothing. Do something! Move your body, get in shape!

More tips will be coming soon.

I will highly recommend the P90x program to anyone who is interested. It is very cheap and it can do wonders in your life. You can check out the product at Amazon below.

iPhone 4g leaked!

So rumor has it that an Apple employee lost his iPhone 4g at a bar. The phone was found, but unfortunately not by the Apple employee. It is now in the hands of Gizmodo. They have posted a a nice video and several images of the “leaked” iPhone 4g.

I don’t want to make this a long post so let me quickly tell you what the next generation iPhone will feature. (hopefully).

- Front side camera (for iChat? Video Calling?)
- Higher Res Screen.
- Camera with a bigger lens and flash
- an extra mic (for sound cancellation).

- Larger Battery (16% larger)

Basically those are the major updates. Apple has supposedly “remotely” disabled the phone and it does not work anymore. Now that sucks!

What I found interesting was the change in design. The iPhone is now more “brick” like and doesn’t have the curved edges anymore. I personally would have preferred a more sleeker design but this one is not too bad.
I can’t wait to see the real thing!

Check out Gizmodo for more details.

Update: I made a quick video about how the iPhone 4g got leaked. Check it out.
